Bio
Logan Pitts is an NYC-based director, performer, and collaborative artist across theater, opera, film, dance, and music. As an interdisciplinary artist, Logan cherishes bringing a holistic, multifaceted perspectives as a methodology for challenging and inspiring countercultural paradigm shifts. In this way, whether directing, singing, acting, dancing, or devising, he specializes in facilitating creative spaces and communities as innovative conductors for change, with a keen focus on sharing marginalized narratives imbued with a magical sense of wonder rich in nuance, adventure, and joy! (Whew! What a sentence!) Standing 6’6’’, a natural leader reinforced with intensive experience, Logan is passionate about creating fun, zany, inclusive, people-forward environments in which to collaborate.
Logan’s work has been featured Off- Broadway and regional theaters, most recently serving as Director, Dramaturg, and Development for Paradise Blue and Reparations (Gloucester Stage), The Abolitionist Refrain (Punctuate4), and BARBEQUE (SUNY Purchase Conservatory). As a classically trained vocalist, Logan has performed in major venues across the city such as Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Symphony Space, and Lincoln Center, sharing the stage with stars such as Andrea Bocelli, Stephanie Blythe, Kristen Chenoweth, Nadine Sierra, Nicole Scherzinger, and Heather Headley. Fresh off the US National Tour of HMS Pinafore, The Mikado & Pirates of Penzance, Logan is a 6-year company member with the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players where he has been featured in half of the entire repertoire!
Ever an advocate for the development of new theatre, Logan has premiered original works such as ALICE (The Tank), Bran Castle (Signature Theatre), Bach & Bleach (LaMaMa), The Light Years by The Debate Society (Powerhouse Theater/NYSAF), I Am Antigone (Theater for a New City), The Secret (NYNW, Theatre Row), Dancing Through (The Tank/Allongé Film), and Noir Femme Avengers (Harlem9). Other favorite productions include Waxler’s On the Town, The Madison Theatre’s West Side Story, Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, and Pasatieri’s Signor Deluso.
